Matthew Sia is the Global Head of Order-To-Cash at the Finance Shared Services Center (FSSC) of Hitachi Vantara Sdn Bhd. He is an accountant by training, having graduated from University of New South Wales with a Masters of Commerce (Finance) as well as a CPA Australia qualification.
Matthew has had 18 years of professional experience in accounting and finance, and is highly passionate in the area of people leadership and development. Matthew has led many successful projects within the FSSC of Hitachi Vantara, ranging from the implementation of SalesForce and RevPro (a IFRS15-compliant revenue recognition tool), as well as standardizing reporting formats and developing a standard cash collection forecasting model based on data analysis.
He is also a panel speaker in Hitachi Vantara's Perspective For Leadership training series, often featuring in topics regarding leadership skills especially in the virtual space post-COVID19. Aside from the regular accounting and finance topics, Matthew is also skilled data analysis with Python and R, with a Data Science 360 certification from LEAD.
