Finance Executive

*PAID POSITION* 

Key point of contact for other departments on financial and accounting matters, and advises the organisation alongside the manager on appropriate business planning and helps in decision-making processes to ensure that businesses are financially successful, including ensuring financial efficiency, regulations and legislations.

Assist in managing key day-to-day financial operations, including compiling financial reports, budgeting, preparing invoices, balance sheets and accounts management.

Required Skills & Experience: 

  • Minimum Diploma, preferably Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance

  •  Minimum 1-year experience in the financial field with adequate financial literacy (fresh graduates are welcomed)

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Malay

  • Proficiency in Google Suites, Excel, computers and current communication technology

  • Keep updated with the latest Accounting Standards, financial reporting requirements, tax requirements and other related laws

HR Assistant

Assists the People & Culture function with recruitment, onboarding and offboarding of team members, and provide general administrative support to the People & Culture team including preparing certificates, letters, documents, and taking minutes at weekly team meetings.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Proficient with Google Docs, Sheets & Calendar

- Good communication skills

- Organised & detail oriented

- Able to follow processes

Centre Coordinator

Assists the Centre Manager in a client-facing role. Centre Coordinators (CC) help with managing clients' appointments for therapy sessions, billing, provide administrative support, and making sure the therapy rooms and waiting area are clean and comfortable for a positive client experience.

This is a full-time position.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Customer service oriented

- Able to handle internal & external stakeholders

- Organised & detail oriented

- Open to Social Science, Psychology, or Management graduates.

Digital Communications

Assistant

Assists in advocating for mental health, using creativity to support the team in bringing forth important messages and updates on programmes and initiatives. 

Responsible for scheduling social media posts, creating communications collateral such as posters, monthly newsletters and videos.

Required Skills & Experience: 

- Proficient with Canva

- Design skills (desirable)

- Writing/Copywriting skills (desirable)

- Good communication skills

- Organised & detail oriented

Program Assistant

Assists with programs within Thrive Well. Applicant may be assigned to any of the following programs based on suitability:

 

1. Community development programs - KAMI.

KAMI program works with families in the B40 group to strengthen communication skills and resilience.

 

2. Advocacy - assists with advocating for mental health including but not limited to producing articles, coordinating public awareness & education campaigns etc.

​

3. Internal training - assists with coordinating and scheduling internal training for Thrive Well's staff.

Skilled Volunteers

If you are a skilled professional looking to volunteer on a part-time basis, please submit an application. We welcome volunteers with the following experience:

Clinical Psychologist or Counselor Trainee

Master student looking to apply professional knowledge and skills to gain more professional experience in one-on-one interventions.

Has interest in applying Trauma Informed Care framework to interventions, and able to undertake some community work.

​

Eligibility Criteria:

- Currently studying a Master program in Clinical Psychology or Professional Counseling in accordance with membership in MSCP or licensing with the LKM guidelines.

Associate

Qualified mental health practitioner able to apply professional knowledge and skills to provide clinical intervention in Thrive Well in a one-on-one setting. 

 

Has interest in applying Trauma Informed Care framework to interventions, conducting training, and would like to undertake some community work.

Eligibility Criteria:

- Currently an active member of a professional regulatory body such as MSCP, LKM etc.

- If not yet a member, currently in the process of applying for membership/license from professional regulatory body such as MSCP, LKM etc.
