Ellisha Othman

Managing Director

Ellisha is a Clinical Psychologist and an Eisenhower Fellow (2020). She is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Adlerian Psychology.

Ellisha started her career in corporate finance and later made a career change to train as a clinical psychologist motivated by her positive experience as service user of mental health services during her undergraduate studies in Australia. The inequities in the mental health services in Malaysia directed her to develop her expertise in community mental health for socioeconomically diverse populations adversely affected by trauma ranging from corporate employees to underserved communities.

In her role as a honorary lecturer and clinical supervisor at local and international universities, she focuses on educating trauma-informed mental health practitioners in-training.

Ellisha is also an active advocate serving as Honorary Treasurer from 2017-2019 the Malaysian Society of Clinical Psychology (MSCP) and Vice-President of the National Alliance of Mental Health (NAMH).

She enjoys travelling, reading and will occasionally sing for food or coffee (in no particular order).
