Ivy Tan

Ivy is a Counselling Psychologist and Licensed and Registered Counsellor in Malaysia, with over a decade of experience in the mental health field. Having worked in both the United States and Asia, she brings a multidisciplinary and multicultural lens to her practice. She specialises in counselling and psychotherapy for individuals, families, and adolescents navigating social, emotional, and behavioural challenges.


As a founding team member of Thrive Well, Ivy currently leads the organisation’s clinical excellence efforts, with experience spanning both in-person and digital mental healthcare. Her work has supported a diverse range of clients, from corporate and private practice settings to underserved and grassroots communities. She is particularly passionate about strengthening accessible, high-quality mental health care through clinical innovation, systems development, and service delivery.


Ivy previously served on the board of the Malaysian Marriage and Family Therapy Association (MyMFT) and is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT).
