Liana Mohd Nawi

Director, Clinical Services & Clinical Psychologist

Bachelor of Accounting & Finance, Lancaster University

Graduate Diploma in Psychology, University of Melbourne

Master’s in Clinical Psychology, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia

Liana’s shift into mental health was deeply personal. Having gone through a difficult period during her studies, she sought support through her university’s psychology clinic. The healing and transformation she experienced through therapy inspired her to explore what it would be like to sit on the other side of the chair, supporting others in finding strength, clarity, and hope in their own journeys.

Now a mother of two boys, Liana is particularly passionate about supporting women through fertility, perinatal, and postpartum mental health. She believes that the journey to and through motherhood, often filled with silent struggles, emotional shifts, and identity changes, deserves greater understanding and compassionate care. Alongside her work with women, Liana also values the role of family dynamics and relationships in emotional wellbeing, and incorporates a family-centered perspective into her clinical practice to help strengthen communication, connection, and support within the home environment.

Through her clinical work, Liana hopes to create safe and supportive spaces where individuals, couples, and families can process their experiences, reconnect with their sense of self and one another, and feel empowered in their emotional journeys. Her aspiration is to normalize conversations surrounding maternal and family mental health while advocating for systems that recognize and nurture wellbeing at every stage of life.
